Know the VCP main programs related to life quality of its employees and their families.

More Life Program The More Life Program was developed to promote health and life quality in all company units. It is a permanent program that involves not only VCP employees, but also their families.
The program includes tests for evaluating the VCP personnel health, life style identification, food habits, and physical activity practices to establish actions in order to improve the employees life quality within and outside the company.
We integrate the employee families to the process by providing them with quality life, health and healthy habits information.
One day at VCP Every year, in October, we invite our employee children aged 5 - 12-years-old, from all units, to take part in the program "One day at VCP". The program aims at developing awareness and responsibility towards the environment.
More Teens
Annual event for our employee children aged 13 –17 years old. Every year we discuss a new subject. In 2002, the experimental project Unit focused on the Environment.
Citizenship is the subject to be discussed on the 2003 edition of More Teens. The teenagers take part in cooperation games, board games and competitions, among several other activities especially prepared to develop their understanding about cooperation, group work and other community values. In addition, there is a lecture on educational orientation for those aged 15 -17 years old.
Safety at work environment "Safety at work, life quality" is the subject of the recent campaign promoted by VCP aimed at diminishing even more accidents in the company. The campaign establishes guidelines, criteria and responsibilities to the labor's safety and health management at VCP.
VCP is very concerned of enhancing means to identify risks in order to prevent accidents, as the task of following up accident rate statistics alone, according to frequency and severeness, does not prevent them.
Ergometic Process The VCP ergonomic process has been trying to help employees to find the ideal job conditions. This work has been constantly done in the company since 1988, when the Ergonomic Corporate Program was set up, and "ergonomic commitees" were created for all industrial and forestry units.
The commitees evaluate the work fronts, paying special attention to those ones where excessive fatigue, uncomfortable conditions, and operational difficulties may lead to injuries. The commitees have sorted out more than 300 ergonomic processes.
