Votorantim was chosen as the world’s best family company by Swiss institute IMD Business School in partnership with bank Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch. This is the first time a Latin American company wins this acknowledged award, with highlights in all evaluation criteria, such as family control for at least three generations with solid performance, market leadership and international operation, a successful history which incorporates innovation and tradition, an effective corporate governance system and social responsibility actions.

The Chairman of the Group’s Executive Board, Carlos Ermírio de Moraes, Mrs. Regina Helena Scripilliti Velloso, member of the Family Board, and Helena Scripilliti Ferreira Velloso, member of the 4th Generation, attended the IMD-LODH international award ceremony, which took place in Belgium last week. Votorantim, which is proud of this significant conquer, published the award achievement in the main newspapers of the State of São Paulo (O Estado de São Paulo, Folha de São Paulo, Gazeta Mercantil and Valor Econômico) and in Brazilian magazines (IstoÉ Dinheiro, Exame and Carta Capital).
